*The quality of our wines is of utmost importance to us. To make sure your wine arrives in perfect condition during the hot summer months, all shipments will include cold pack inserts at an additional, nominal charge of $5.

If your order is returned to the winery, we will need to pass on the carrier return fees and the charge for re-shipping the wine.

This Pinot Noir is produced from our Pali Estate Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills. Planted in 2012, this 50-acre vineyard is located along the Hwy 246 corridor on Gypsy Canyon. It sits on a gentle, Southeast-facing slope comprised of mostly sandy soils. Our Estate Grown wine is a blend of clones 23, 2A, 777, 828 and Pommard and is fermented and aged separately in small lots. This wine was barrel-aged for 20 months in 50% new French oak and bottled in August 2019.

Each year, we select one of our seven Pinot Noir clones from a single block on our 50-acre Estate vineyard, located in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County. This year's focus is Pommard, which is considered to be a "stand-alone" clone and known to produce perfumed, aromatic wine with spice and ripe dark fruits on the palate. Harvested in the 2017 season from Block 2, this very small production wine was barrel-fermented and aged for 18 months in neutral French oak barrels.

Fiddlestix Vineyard was planted in 1998 by Kathy Joseph, "Head Fiddle" at Fiddlehead Cellars. Located in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA in Santa Barbara County, CA. Fiddlestix Vineyard is planted to 80 acres of Pinot Noir, which benefits from morning fog, mild sunny days and cool ocean breezes. This wine is a combination of Dijon clones 667, 777, and Pommard 4. It was fermented in small lots, barrel-aged in 50 percent new French oak for 15 months, racked once and bottled in May 2019.

Located on the far western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills, Radian Vineyard is a vast vineyard producing premium Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes in a very extreme setting. Dramatic changes in altitude and soils laden with gravel, diatomaceous earth, and fossils of ancient sea creatures. Radian, and its sister, Bentrock Vineyard, both sit on the Rancho Salsipuedes property and produce wines of power and intensity. Our 2017 bottling from this vineyard is a blend of clones 777 and 113. The fruit was hand-picked, fermented in small lots, then barrel-aged for 18 months using 50% new French oak. Bottled in May 2019.

Rancho La Vina Vineyard is nestled along the western edge of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. The Vineyard is a part of a family-owned and operated ranch established in the 1860s and shares its home with cattle, walnuts, and various fruit trees. The wines benefit from the wind coming off the Pacific Ocean, making it the ideal cool climate for growing premium Pinot Noir grapes. Crafted from clones 115 and 777, hand-harvested, fermented in small lots and punched down by hand up to three times daily. Barrel-aged for 18 months using 50% new French oak barrels. Bottled May 2019.

John Sebastiano Vineyard sits on the extreme northeastern edge of the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, and as such, is in the warmer part of the valley. Situated on deep slopes facing west towards the Pacific Ocean, this relatively windy vineyard produces limited yields, resulting in concentrated flavors. This Pinot Noir is made from a combination of clones 777 and Mt. Eden and is fermented in small lots, punched-down by hand up to three times daily, and then barrel-aged in 50% new French oak for 18 months. Bottled in May 2019.

Established in 1986, Chapel Vineyards (formerly Huber Vineyard) is one of the oldest vineyards in Sta. Rita Hills appellation. This vineyard, planted primarily to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vines, has been meticulously cared for and maintained over its long history. Located in the heart of the Sta. Rita Hills, the vineyard benefits from the appellation's cool climate, ocean breezes, coastal fog and incredible soils. This Chardonnay is fermented in small lots, barrel-aged for 16 months in 50% new French oak. Bottled April 2019.

Pali Vineyard spans 50 acres and is located in Gypsy Canyon along the Hwy 246 corridor in the Sta. Rita Hills. Planted entirely to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay varietals in 2012, our vineyard sits on a gentle, southeast-facing slope comprised mostly of sandy soils. Made from Clone 95, this elegant, mineral and acid-driven wine was barrel-fermented and barrel-aged sur-lie with regular batonage of the less, which contributes to a more luxurious mouthfeel. The wine was aged in a combination of new (50%) and neutral French oak (50%) for 16 months and bottled in May 2019.
