Blood Moon is a red wine blend of Syrah & Sangiovese. The Syrah comes from Alamo Creek Vineyard northeast of Santa Maria and the Sangiovese from Giff's Vineyard in the Los Olivos District. Both vineyards are organically farmed. The wine was crafted using a fermentation technique called carbonic maceration, where whole grapes are placed in an anaerobic environment. Here natural, environmental, yeast breaks down the sugars in each individual grape berry converting the juice into wine. The grapes are pressed without ever being crushed, resulting in a vibrant red-colored light body red wine. This is a natural wine -- it was organically farmed, used only native (non-commercial) yeast, SO2 was avoided throughout the wines elevage, and it is unfined and unfiltered.
"fresh-picked cherry, raspberry, rosewater"
Initially inspired by the highly structured full-bodied red wines from the Bordeaux region in France, this wine displays the California Central Coast's ability to achieve traditional rich Bordeaux characteristics, while showcasing fruit driven qualities unique to California's Central Coast.
"blackberry jam, mocha, toasted oak, candied black cherry"
Harvest Moon is a vinho verde inspired white wine blend made from early harvest Pinot Noir & Chardonnay. The sustainably farmed fruit was harvested from Pali Vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills AVA, and pressed and co-fermented together. Vinho verde traditionally comes from northern Portugal where its translation "green wine" means young wine. Vinho verdes are usually bottled 3-6 months after harvest as an early treat and are consumed quickly after bottling.
"lemonade, white melon, green apple, lime blossom"

Full of splendor, adventure and grace.

Marsanne, Roussanne, Viognier play a part.
Stonefruit and citrus flavors,
achieve a fruity profile with some tart.
Fresh and spirited as the ocean spray,
cold and bold and crisp.
This Rhone-inspired white wine blend,
is refreshing as the ocean's mist.
Dawn is an 'orange' style wine made from partially whole cluster, skin-fermented Pinot Grigio & Chardonnay. 20 days fermentation on the skins, gives this wine its blush orange hue. This extremely non-interventionist winemaking process creates a funkier, sour and nutty tasting wine that is extremely versatile when paired with food.
"bruised apple, kombucha, dried orange rind"
This wine is crafted from premium Petite Sirah grapes grown at Texas Road Vineyard, located on the westside of Paso Robles in the San Miguel District AVA. The grapes for this Rhone-style red variety were harvested from Camp 4 Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley. Typically used as a blending grape with its more well-known Rhone cousins, we decided to showcase Cinsault on its own. This light-bodied, easy drinking wine is fermented in small lots, punched-down by hand up to three times daily, and barrel-aged for 18 months in 100% neutral oak. Bottled in March 2019.
The fruit for this wine is sourced from both the Jorian Hill Vineyard and Camp 4 Vineyard, located in the Santa Ynez Valley AVA. Jorian Hill Vineyard is situated in Ballard Canyon and is moderate in temperature, whereas Camp 4 Vineyard lies in the eastern Santa Ynez Valley, which is much warmer. Combining grapes from varied climates results in a balanced, rich wine. This wine is fermented in small lots, punched-down by hand up to three times daily, and then aged in 80% new French oak barrels for 18 months. Bottled in March 2019.
