This Chardonnay, made from grapes grown on our estate vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills, ‘Pali Vine- yard,’ represents our take on a well-balanced Chardonnay. With complete control over the farming and harvesting of the grapes, this wine is crafted with the utmost attention to detail and meticulous standards. Our vineyard, organically farmed and SIP (Sustainability in Practice) Certified, is located in the far northwestern corner of the Sta. Rita Hills, atop sandy soils, exposing it to maxi- mum ocean influence. This leads to a slow ripening process, allowing for an extended growing season that fosters riper characteristics while preserving natural acidity.

The distinct acidity of our Chardonnay captures the freshness and oceanic influence of the Sta. Rita Hills. In crafting this wine, we selectively utilize new French oak barrels during aging, skill- fully balancing the interplay of acidity, ripeness, and oak to create a balanced wine.
