Lexi is a refined and elegant rosé that presents an unexpected blend of Pinot Noir, Grenache, and Sangiovese grapes. Although each grape variety can create delectable stand-alone rosés, their harmonious combination in Lexi is truly impressive. The Pinot Noir component comes from our vineyard in the Sta. Rita Hills. We harvest the grapes earlier than those intended for red Pinot Noir wines, resulting in a lighter color and a delicate flavor profile. All grapes are lightly crushed and left to soak on the skins for only a few hours. This limited-skin contact results in a beautiful pale pink hue. The grapes are then pressed and fermented in a combination of neutral oak and stainless steel.
