Due to high temperatures during the Summer months, all orders will be shipped using cold pack shippers to ensure that wines are not damaged while in transit. These shippers require a minimum of 4 bottles per shipment and we will only be able to ship orders that meet this requirement. Any orders less than 4 bottles will be held until they are safe to ship.
This wine is crafted from premium Pinot Grigio grapes grown on Turner Vineyard, located in the northern part of the Sta. Rita Hills appellation. This wine, made in very limited quantities, was fermented entirely in stainless steel, then barrel-aged in neutral French oak barrels for 10 months and bottled in Spring 2017.
On the nose, tropical and stone fruits, white peaches, kumquats, red apples paired with honey, jasmine and wet earth/gravel. The palate gives more tropical fruits of banana and pineapple along with white peach, lemon peel, and fresh sage. Background flavors of lemon grass, mustard seed, and fresh cut lawn. A slightly creamy mouth feel is balanced with a core of tart acid that cuts through from start to finish.
Nose shows candied fruits, dried apricots, fresh kiwi, dried herbs and fresh-mowed lawn. Palate shows round and full in the mouth. Peaches and honey leap forward, mingling with marcona almonds, oregano, sea salt and quince.
White pear and honey on the nose. Dry and intense lemon lime hits the palate. Smooth in body, finishing with a sharp, citrus pop.
Beautiful aromatics of fresh white stone fruits- peaches and apricots followed by secondary tropical fruit notes of guava, pineapple, and banana. Bright and playful on the palate with fruit flavors from start to finish. Fresh grass and minerality combine with the tropical and citrus fruits, finishing with a cleansing acidity and slight notes of dried herbs.
Ripe and intense, with juicy pear and apricot, accented with pretty floral and lemon zest aromas. Big, long and juicy finish. Drink now. 60 cases made.
This wine is made from premium Chenin Blanc grapes grown on the Area 51 Vineyard, located along the scenic Foxen Canyon Trail in Santa Barbara County. Our refreshing Chenin Blanc is fermented and aged in a combination of French oak and stainless steel. Bottled in Summer 2017.
Beautiful crystal clear straw color with bright lemon eucalyptus, honeydew, pear and apricot notes. Medium bodied and highly structured. Crisp and refreshing flavors give way to a long finish accented with minerality.
