Brilliant deep red/garnet color. Nose shows fresh cherries, strawberry, baking spices, toasted oak and hints of bacon fat. The palate gives up dark red fruit flavors, earthy mushrooms and loads of spices finishing with warm notes of vanilla and coffee. Silky texture on a medium-weighted palate with perfumed flavors that permeate up to the nose. Lively, visceral and brooding.
"Alphabets" is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir grapes sourced from the notable Ardiri Vineyard in the Chehalem Mountains AVA of the Willamette Valley. This wine is carefully blended to express the unique flavors associated with the Willamette Valley appellation. "Alphabets" is fermented in small lots and barrel-aged for 8 months in 30% new French oak. Bottled May 2017.
Brilliant crimson red color. The nose presents bright and aromatic; dried flowers along with dark cherries, blackberry, Indian spice, coffee beans, sage, cinnamon, and sweet toasty oak. The palate opens with dark red fruits, raspberries, clove, and black pepper and progresses in the mid-palate with an earthy background accented by mushroom, black licorice, and dried herbs. Finishes fresh with acidity, herbal notes, and a full mouthfeel.
The nose offers up sweet red fruits such as fresh raspberries, cherries and baked plums, all mingling with notes of cola, cinnamon, black pepper, and toasted oak. On the palate, black cherries and baking spices swirl with mushrooms and clove. Rich and coating mouthfeel with round tannins and fresh acidity on the finish.
Vibrant, Ruby-red/Garnet Color. The nose offers aromas of dark cherries, briar, blackberry, toasted wood, coal, cinnamon, rosemary. Palate provides sweet red fruit with juicy acid and hints of mushroom and roasted meat.
Candied nose of sweet cherries, dark chocolate, cinnamon, ripe strawberries, maple syrup, boysenberries, toasted oak, dried thyme. Palate offers up bright red fruits, cherries and raspberries up front with earthy tones of wild mushrooms and black truffles. The mid palate swells with rich acid and flavors of baking spices (clove, mace, cardamom). Long, elegant finish with black licorice, more red fruit and hints of black tea. Ruby Red, Garnet in color, bright clarity – medium bodied.
This wine is bright ruby red/garnet in color. The nose is filled with a variety of fresh picked red fruits including strawberries, raspberries and black cherries. This flavor is combined with a balance of white pepper, truffles, and Gouda. The palate becomes enveloped with a full-bodied mouth-feel. Flavors of black cherries are carried through, along with iron, cloves and rose petals all supported by lush tannin and a silky finish.
Dark garnet in color, this wine showcases bright red fruits on the nose with hints of thyme, tea, and caramel. The tea flavors carry through to the palate along with notes of earth and iron that come together into a long, spicy finish.
